When I brought these chairs home looking the way they did in the before photo, my husband couldn't believe that I would even pay a cent for them. But after choosing one of my favorite Thibaut fabrics to reupholster them in, Tyler ate his words! He loved them :) Out of the four chairs, three were completely torn apart but I brought them back to life with new cushions and amazingly fun fabric.
My tip to you when picking out fabric for your dining room/ kitchen is to be practical. I learning the hard way by only wanting the best and most beautiful fabric. But I found out quickly that choosing practicality over looks is most important when picking fabric for a commonly used space. You want to make sure that whatever you choose, that it is livable and you wont be watching your guests every moves when they come over for spaghetti!
I hope you are inspired by the before and after pics of these chairs. I found them in a local consignment shop, where I usually buy most of my furniture and have loved them ever since being redone. Anything can be cute. Just have a vision, think beyond what the item looks like, and imagine the potential!
Thank you for reading and I hope you have an awesome weekend!!!
